steelers n beer

Saturday we ventured to Budweiser for a "brewmaster's tour".

We were taken all around the facility and learned about the company and how they make beer.

The group we were with was kind of dull, but as usual, Ashley and I found the other witty, sarcastic, yet friendly people - RuAnn and Dale, a couple from Arvada, CO.

 closely inspecting the quality..

After the tour we had a beer tasting. Much like the wine tastings we enjoyed in Sonoma :)

After the tour we sat on a patio outside with the couple from Arvada, and enjoyed our free samples in the sunshine and talked about Colorado, travel, and life.

Sunday we went for a morning hike at Red Rocks.

It was a beautiful morning and there were tons of people there working out.

Psyched and so excited for the night, we went down to Denver for the Steelers vs Broncos game.  We arrived in the early evening to get a good parking spot and pregame with other fans.

We found a little bar around the corner from the stadium where we met a ton of fans, both Broncos and Steelers.  We had a great time!

About 2 hrs before the game we met Tiffany, a coworker from Pittsburgh, and her husband at the field, and went in to find our seats.  We spent about the first 30 minutes after we arrived screaming and smiling. We couldn't believe the view!

so I'm just gonna post a bunch of pictures and a video... okay go!

Even though our boys lost and we received some harassment from the opposing team's fans, we had a blast!

My apartment is only about 15 minutes from the stadium, so we got home really quick.

Free tickets, free parking, beer and great company, amazing seats.
Unreal. Far beyond what we could've imagined!

We're still smiling about it
