packing up again.

All I've been doing this past weekend is packing up my apartment and running errands.

For my last 7 days in Colorado, I am to work 5 of them.  This Saturday, my lease is up and I will be moving into an extended stay hotel for a few nights.  Then I'll head Northwest Thursday, October 4th.

Fall is officially here in Colorado, as evidenced by the changing Aspens and overcast days. It matches my mood as I pack up my things yet again.  This time has been so wonderful and yet challenging.  I accomplished a lot, both in the mountains I've climbed, and in the way my faith has grown in the time I've spent alone. These three months in Colorado will always be dear to me. I loved it here.

The day I leave Colorado next week is the exact day my mom and I departed Pennsylvania last year. Crazy. I'm overwhelmed with gratefulness when I reflect on all I've been able to do and see this past year. More than I could ever have imagined or ever planned to do on my own.

This'll probably sound a little lame, but thanks everyone, for reading about my tales and misadventures. I really appreciate your interest and care as I venture around from place to place. What with all this moving and relationships changing constantly, it's easy to feel isolated.  Just knowing people read is a strange way of staying connected and eases the strains of being alone. I miss my PA family and friends a ton! I am sad when I think of the friends I made in CA then left. I'll miss the stark beauty of CO. It is so wonderful to have been able to meet everyone and experience all I have only to leave it after a few months, then to never have done it at all.

Next week I'll head again into the unknown and I am so so so excited to see what this next year holds!

  1. Megan, your willingness to allow God to guide your path has been an inspiration. I have lived vicareously ( no spell check so I hope that is the right spelling) through your adventures. I got married and had children early. I would not trade my children or my path for anything as it has brought me to this point. I went into nursing having dreams of being a flight nurse. During my journey, God spoke to me and let me know that my calling was here at a community hospital as our patients need compassionate nurses everywhere. God has truly blessed you with the calling to travel. I have no doubt that your nursing care as well as your journey is changing lives for the Lord everyday. You are not alone! Not only are we behind you but God carries you through everyday. Stay strong and know that we are thinking of and praying for you every day. PS this is coming across as my husband's profile...technology is great. Julie Zetkulic
