I fed the birds some of my breakfast.
We got back on the highway and journeyed North. Ashley had found a hiking train in Gaviota. Even though it was overcast today, this park is beautiful and so unique.
I referred to this as Earth's belly button..
We climbed all over the place and hiked up this trail that provided an amazing view.
Then we hiked the edge of a cliff along the ocean.
After a while, Ashley realized this wasn't the hike she had found online. So we spoke to a friendly park ranger, got directions, and jumped back in the car and took a quick drive a little more north.
Right next to the sign for the trail head was a warning for mountain lion attacks... so I picked up to sticks and banged them together...aahh just kidding! Did you catch the reference?
More playing and hiking.
More breathtaking views.
except this one... bleeaauggh.
Ahh, this is better..
We only live about 20 minutes from downtown Los Angeles, but we haven't been there yet. With all that we are getting to see and explore outside of the city, I don't feel a rush to go see some buildings and traffic.. They'll be there for a while, right? Yeah, we've got time ;)
